Greetings and welcome to the vegetarian kitchen! My name is Annie and this blog is dedicated to my personal culinary adventures. I’m 23 years old and I recently graduated from college where I majored in sustainable agriculture. Here you will find a collection of healthy vegetarian recipes (plus maybe a few not so healthy recipes) as well as all things related to cooking locally, seasonally and sustainably. Sustainable cooking is my passion and I like to cook with local, organic and seasonal ingredients as much as possible. I also love to travel and I find great joy in recreating different foods I have tried from all over the world. The recipes you will find here are compiled by yours truly, unless otherwise noted. When I’m not cooking, I’m likely thinking about cooking and creating recipes in my head. I also enjoy doing yoga and I work on a farm. Many of my recipes are plant based, gluten-free and/or vegan.
